The fastest way to reach me is the phone. I answer it myself — there is no receptionist, no intake coordinator, no paralegal. If you would rather come in or write to start, that is here too.
Free initial phone call
I take the time to listen and to explain the law in plain language. No attorney–client relationship is formed on the phone — that requires a formal engagement — but the call is free, and many situations can be oriented in a single conversation. For the most straightforward cases — no criminal history, no child-support issues, no other complications — I can skip the in-person consultation entirely and schedule you for a filing appointment instead. Many clients hire me on the first phone call, and clean cases can be filed the same day they walk in.
In-person consultation — if necessary — $375* for the hour
The consultation is for clients whose record needs to be examined before filing — older criminal history, tax issues, prior immigration denials, a name change without supporting documentation. The fee is paid up front, and the hour is yours. This is where strategy happens on cases that need it. For everyone else, we move directly from the phone call to filing.
*If you retain Roberta during the consultation, the $375 fee is credited against your retainer.

If you would rather start with a written summary, the form below routes directly to the firm. The fastest path is still the phone, but for anyone who needs to write rather than call, I will respond.
